Youth Sailing
How can a child get started in sailing

Book your child onto an OnBoard Saturday session, we also offer adult sail clinic sessions for adults.

They can take an RYA course, start with RYA Stage 1. We offer different courses for different age groups.

They can come along to our OnBoard Saturday sessions. It is important that they practise their skills before taking the next RYA course.
Once they are ready they can then take part in supported club racing.
Their journey can continue with further RYA stages 2, 3 and 4 plus advanced modules.
Adult Sailing
How can an adult get started in sailing

Book yourself onto an adult sail clinic Saturday session, we also offer OnBoard sessions for children

Take an RYA course, start with RYA Level 1.

Come along to our adult sail clinic Saturday sessions. It is important that your practise your skills before taking the next RYA course.
Once you are ready you can then take part in supported club racing.
Your journey can continue with advanced modules such as seamanship skills and start racing.
And there will be opportunities within the club to become an assistant instructor.
Powerboating
How do i safely get into powerboating
Take the RYA powerboat level 2 course. This teaches you the safe fundamentals of operating a powerboat. This qualification allows you to apply for your international certificate of competence- required for boat charter abroad.
