At WFYC and RYA Training Centre we embrace our young cadets, as the future of our club.
We would like to invite our experienced club racers to inspire and help bring out the best in our young cadet members. We would like you to race with a cadet, or two! This could be in your own boat, if suitable, or a club boat
As an experienced club racer we know you can offer the following to our cadets:
Enhanced knowledge of the racing rules
Improved boat handling
Race tactics
Experience of sailing different boats
A friendly face to encourage them further in club racing
WFYC cadet members who hold a minimum of RYA stage 2 are invited to take part. We will match you with a suitable experience club racer, in either their own boat, or a club boat.

What time?
0830 arrival, sign in desk opens, meet your experienced club member or cadet
0900 briefing
launching and familiarisation sail as soon as there is enough water
1030 race start
prize giving as soon as possible after the event
