This year we decided to enter the Walton and Frinton dinghy regatta sailing 3 up in our Wayfarer dinghy. We will cut straight to the chase, we had a fantastic time. Easily the most welcoming and friendly club we have been to in a very long time so join us for day 1 and race 1, as we try and find our way around the Backwaters in Essex.

61 boats made up the bumper entry to this year's Walton and Frinton Yacht Club Dinghy Week with five days of competitive racing taking place in the extremely picturesque Walton Backwaters.

The club’s RYA training centre, led by principal, Heidi Wright, has won a top award.

There is now a TV in the club bar and this will show dinghy races live during the race.
